The success of Haines Friends of Recycling will ultimately depend on YOU: how YOU treat waste, how YOU view recycling, how YOU spend your money and time. Currently we are poised to begin making a difference. We are now developing a strong backbone of volunteers. There are a variety ways to play an active role in the growth of the community's sustainable waste management solution.

Please consider getting directly involved. Family involvement in community service at the recycle center allows your children to learn first hand the values of resource conservation and pollution prevention.
